Unfortunately, being busy with other projects, I haven’t drawn much in the past month or so. However, since there were still a few pictures I hadn’t put on Paradygma, here’s a quick update, concerning two Mage-type characters.

It’s been a couple of weeks, and since I’m not done updating the last batch of pictures I’ve drawn since I’ve got my License degree, here’s another update. This time, it’s all for Mage: the Ascension—one for the ongoing Chronicle I’ve been part of for years (The Angel’s Stone: ReDux), the other for my own, short Chronicle (Shadow Nexus), set in Victorian London.

Adding more traditional drawings

Some more fodder for the Traditional and Mixed Media galleries—digital works are great, but sometimes I just need to have the feeling of fresh inks on my fingers (yes, I am a pig when I do traditional artwork).

What I’ve added today is closer to character-design than full illustration, and probably not as good as what I’d be able to do if I had more time to practice, but no matter what, I like those pictures, and I enjoyed working on them a lot.

New album in the WIP gallery

I had opened a WIP gallery a couple of years ago, with the aim of documenting how I would work on some of my pictures. Unfortunately, I never really had the time to keep up to date with that, and so the gallery sat unused for quite some time.

However, I’ve been working for the past few days on a vector illustration, and I tried my hand again at using the gradient mesh tool. Therefore I uploaded my progress steps for that specific image in a new album.

Meet Alexandra Hyde, and how she’s taking life (so to speak…) under my mighty Pen tool.

Today being the last day of the month, it is an opportunity to do a new update. Alright, I’m just being silly. But I still want to catch up on the pictures I haven’t displayed yet.

The images I’ve uploaded so far on Paradygma all date back to a few years ago. That is, I still have more to publish here, I just didn’t want to do it all at once, with the site revamp itself having to come first. Therefore, don’t be surprised if I do a few more short updates in days to come; this is all meant to catch up on what I haven’t put in my galleries yet.

+ Christmas Card for 2005: The card I sent for Christmas 2005. It’s completely out of season, but I’m quite fond of it.

A new Paradigm is here. Please update your Reality

As you can see, this website has undergone a heavy change, and one that was much needed. In fact, if my webhost had not been in the process of migrating to a new control panel, I would have done that sooner. However, I preferred to wait, and make sure that everything was in order before initiating the big move.

The old Paradygma is no more. It was too cumbersome to maintain, given the little free time I have during most of the year, and so I decided to use a system that would be more convenient. Now I really won’t have any excuses to update quickly—and truth be told, I now have migrated all the old pages, but there are still more illustrations to be put here. Therefore, keep on the look-out, for there will be another update soon.

In the meantime, I hope you will enjoy what I have put together here.

A much needed update

I cannot believe I haven’t done an update in so long–almost two years. Lots have happened in the meantime, and not the least was the loss of my beloved hard drive and, worst of the worst, of all my source drawings since 2004.

Nevertheless, I still had the web versions of those, and now I think it is high time I sort through them and put up here what’s worth being displayed. Therefore, here we go, even if some of you may already have seen these in my dA gallery. More will follow soon, too.

My apologies, also, to those of you who have subscribed to the newsletter. I’m really going to try update a little more often from now on… although I admit I currently don’t have much time to produce new worthy pieces.
