Marek Van Cartier and Aristeles Salonikos (Was). Marek doesn't mind having a look on the other side of the fence now and then, and there's not much Aristeles can do about that, sheltered as he is in his castle he doesn't dare leave anymore. Nevertheless, Marek always ends up coming back—even if it takes one, five, ten years. They're both immortal. They've got all the time in the world. And nobody can understand them as much as they do each other, in spite of all the tensions, old grudges and not-so-good memories they share.
